Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the "Savvy" way of doing business. I believe the paperwork should be as smooth as the audio. These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Tom Savvy. By booking a session or commissioning a script, you agree to the following:

1. The Professional Standard

I provide professional British voiceover services recorded from a broadcast-quality, acoustically treated home studio. I adhere to professional industry standards (Gravy for the Brain) for audio quality, business conduct, and fair pricing.

2. Quotations & Bookings

  • The Breakdown: All quotes are project-specific and clearly outline the Basic Studio Fee (BSF) alongside any applicable Usage/Licensing Fees.

  • Validity: Quotes are valid for 30 days.

  • The Green Light: A booking is only considered confirmed when the client provides a final, approved script and a written "Go Ahead" (an email is perfect).

3. Delivery & Turnaround

  • Speed: I aim to deliver standard projects within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the final script.

  • Format: Files are delivered fully edited and mix-ready in high-quality WAV format via a secure download link (unless you request otherwise).

  • Tech Gremlins: I am not responsible for delays caused by technical issues entirely beyond my control, though I will move heaven and earth to fix them.

4. Revisions & Corrections (The "No Surprises" Policy)

  • My Mistakes: If I miss a word, misread a line, or mispronounce a term that was provided in a pronunciation guide, I will fix it immediately at zero cost.

  • Tone Checks: For self-recorded sessions, your quote includes one free round of minor performance adjustments (e.g., "can you make this paragraph a bit more energetic?").

  • Client Script Changes: If your team rewrites the script, changes the core creative direction, or alters the legal copy after the audio has been recorded, a standard revision fee will apply (starting at £50).

  • Live Direction: If you wish to direct the session live (via Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Source-Connect, etc.), this is absolutely welcomed but must be booked in advance.

5. Usage Rights & Licensing

  • The Golden Rule: You do not own the rights to use the audio until the invoice has been paid in full.

  • Scope: Usage rights are granted strictly for the specific medium, territory, and duration outlined in your quote (e.g., "Paid Social Media, UK, 12 Months").

  • Transfers: Usage rights are not transferable to other brands or sister companies without prior written agreement and additional licensing.

  • The AI Clause: Under absolutely no circumstances is the audio provided to be used for AI voice cloning, machine learning, synthetic voice generation, or data scraping without an explicit, separate, and significantly more expensive contract.

6. Payment Terms

  • New Clients: For first-time and international clients, payment is required upfront or upon delivery of watermarked audio files.

  • Existing Clients: For established clients and corporate accounts, standard Net-30 day terms apply.

  • Late Fees: Late payments may be subject to a statutory interest fee under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

7. Cancellation & Kill Fees

  • Post-Recording: If a project is cancelled after the audio has already been recorded, the full invoiced fee is due.

  • Late Notice: If a scheduled live session is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, a 50% "Kill Fee" applies to cover the lost studio time.

8. Confidentiality

I routinely see scripts and products long before the public does. I promise to keep your scripts, internal communications, and brand secrets strictly confidential. If your legal team needs me to sign a specific NDA before we begin, just send it over.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
